I got mine today, it's a good shoe, I'll likely wear them more than the bbb pair. they feel nice on-foot, I always order sz 10 and these 10s feel good. I'm not going into battle pulling them on like the a ma mochas or even the undefeateds
only thing that's a personal annoyance is all the packaging crap that's neat to see when I'm opening the box for the first time but then goes back into the box and into the closet. velcro strap, single ziploc shoe bags, leather tag, it's all fine but really just exists to provide a $10-$15 handjob to the final price for under a dollar of added materials and labor

Definitely agree on the FR4. These are definitely better. These are definitely more wearable than the BBB as well.

just got my pair in. box arrived w perforated lid opened and taped shut which got me feeling suspicious. is the leather of the tongue smooth or tumbled?

I'm deliberatively wearing these tonight to the outdoor springsteen concert in which it's gonna rain maybe throughout, and I'll be under the wide open sky. I'm not gonna be precious with these things like the bbbs that I'm too nervous to even look in the eye. I've beat the dong out of my cardinal 7s and that's why I always grab them. and these babs are like the 4 version of my beloved c7s so I'm chuffed

You really think someone opened your package and swapped out your pair with fakes in the same size?
Definitely better than the fire red 4s, the color blocking is similar but nicer and the quality is so much more buttery than a regular pair of 4s. Really well done shoe.

.Also - even half size up on my SB 4's hurts my left pinky toe so im very curious how these fit me. 11 seem to be the bare minimum for me in 4s and 10.5 would be impossible. And I'm a tts 10.5.

Still waiting for my pair to arrive but I finally tried on the gear and I think I missed bit on the sizing. Nigel
Is a fashion dude so sometimes the sizing isn’t always intuive, especially for a 6’4” 255+ dude like myself. I went with a xxl on the crew neck thinking there maybe be a chance it could be cropped..it wasn’t. I could make the loose fit work for sure but if I ever slim down like I keep telling myself I will I’ll be swimming in it. I also got an xxl on the pants. I got what’s the equivalent of an XL on the last pants and while they fit and work they’re a little tight on the quads and I thought these would be the same, I was wrong lol. I could make it work but I’d def want to size down to and XL for a less baggy fit. The shorts I got in an XL and they fit great.

Interestingly enough, here in Oz, the first gear set sat while the gear for the BAB sold out pretty quick. I think the first set was lightyears better myself.
