Ha ha. I got it for that price not too long after they released at that time. I don't see these as that much diff. Heck, my Vomero Plus was less than $200 and those are modern foam. They're just iterating on the same tech they have in their portfolio; nothing revolutionary. Anyway, maybe I'm simple-minded and $200 is an amazing price for such innovation, and these won't get deeply discounted. Cheers.

thought at first those were gtx… would make more sense IMO for a hiking shoe/boot.

Eh. It's good to have a couple of goretex shoes/sneakers, but not every shoe needs it. Goretex can get pretty sweaty.
