Yea, Footaction did a poor job packaging these. My pair from them wasn't this bad, but a single, cheap piece of tape for the top of the box and the bottom. I don't know why they just don't tape it continuously around the box.

They look great and it makes them look way way better. Especially in person pictures do not do justice for how well it fixes the toe and shoe aesthetics.

received my pair from finish line today. Would of been nice to be the one to wrinkle up the toe box and have the flight tag discolor over time, instead of Nike doing that for me already. Still gonna keep ‘em tho. I’m gonna make these look good on my feet somehow...someway!

My pair from Champs arrived,man I’m tight lol

the stitching on the left shoe is too close to the midsole while the right shoe got it somewhat correct, smfh.

Also the side of the right shoe have a hard crease that yall cant really see in the photo. Might return this pair but its gonna be hard to find a sz9 instores. So disappointed

Agreed. People here are too OCD. Even the human body isn’t perfect on both sides. I can understand huge glaring flaws but some of you people are ridiculous. If you don’t like them, return and move on.

SNKRS pair came in earlier today. The sneakers are nice. But despite how these look, there were creases on the right sneaker. I thought the tongues were more stuffed based on some pictures I saw. I was thinking it looked or was gonna be stuffed like the 99. Any way these are looking pretty good.

I get the complaints. I really do. But I really like these. Never had em before and am thrilled with em now. Minus the toe, these look really good. It completes MY 80s set, now back to the 90s where this **** all really took off. I say this because I believe the WC 4 is a while from now.

If quality control would’ve been on par with the fire red 5s this would have been a great release. Some of these QC issues are pretty bad though, looking on eBay I see so many shoes that have glaring issues.

If you getta nice pair though there’s not much to be upset about, they’re very much inline with other recent retros.

One of my pairs had a wrinkled toe box and the laces had red die on them....

I'm not one to nitpick but some of these pairs have putrid quality. I'll see if a tide pen will at least fix the laces.

I can’t believe how bad Nike/JB screwed this release up. I know there’s going to be some imperfections in mass produced sneakers so it usually doesn’t bother me too much because I don’t really notice while wearing.

But seriously, some of these pairs look like they’ve been worn for weeks. It’s not like minor QC issues, some of these pairs seriously look beat.
