I’ve always thought my retro 4s were kinda comfy? I just wish the tongues were padded a little more.

I don't know if you all are talking about comfort in term of the upper or the midsole, but there's NO QUESTION about the older 4s having softer midsoles. The 2005 Lasers were soft almost like this year's recrafted AM90s, but the 2006 Mars 4s-present are all stiff as hell.

For me it’s the uppers that make the shoe most uncomfortable not the midsoles. The right shoe specifically and my pinky toe. Will see how my next pair feels. Got another near flawless pair otw from eBay. Didn’t even bother on RD my time is too valuable to roll the dice on this qc nightmare lol

the upper KILLS the top of my foot and my pinky. It’s almost unbearable. And it’s not a sizing issue. The midsole is no day at the beach either.

The pinky issue usually has to do with not half sizing up. I had to get rid of my Military Blue 4s because I went TTS and it legit tore up my pinky toe to the point i had a painful blister for like a month.

Looking at production dates on these it's very clear that these were rushed. With how recent 4s have been better shape/craftsmanship wise it's unfortunate that these fell victim to pandemic circumstances.

Mine showed up on my door at 7:20 today.....USPS updated to say it was out for delivery at 7:10. They don't update **** as it goes through their network but I can't blame them with everything going on, as long as it gets to you.
I'll keep a pair because I love the colorway, but the craftsmanship on these is just horrendous. 3 pairs I just mixed and matched and still not happy with the pair that's going in the closet. A damn shame after 31 years to do this.

My pair from Footlocker that I ordered 2 hours after the drop finally arrived. Previously unopened box and shoes are ok. Will wear once Covid calms the f*** down.

I think you got a pretty decent pair....congrats! I'm personally not expecting the comfort to be much diff from the other 4s I have, but haven't yet tried on. Waiting to see if DSG pair shows up to determine which left/right I'm keeping.

I've come to the conclusion that Nike/JB is "The Man"...
On the real though, their just ***holes. And they also know we'll put up with their BS antics, regardless.
It's crazy man! Lol! Idk why they put out good shaped womens 4s but when it comes to ours the put out some sloppy ****.
Footlocker pair just arrived. I’m relatively satisfied. Def not in mint condition but I wear my shoes and I’m sure I would have caused this much damage on my own pretty quickly . Kind of weird to have creasing between the heal tab and wing hadn’t seen that one before

Also not sure what that shiny stuff is on the left toe box but hopefully a Lysol wipe can get rid of it. Wish I had an opportunity to beat my kicks up after a few wears geez. This has got to be worst pair of Jordans I’ve ever purchased in life lol
