Nike Air Max Plus size help

Hey i'm new just been trying to find some forums where i could ask this question.

I recently bought nike air max plus' black/black/black (TNs) in size US 9.5. This is my usual go to size as my other shoes fit fine however with this it feels quite tight to slide into as well as wear. Im not sure if they could get better over time like my air max 1 ultra essentials did but these seem like different materials. Im considering exchanging for a size or half up, but there is space the size of thumb width between my toes and the tip of the shoe. Will they get better over time or should i exchange them?

I feel ya. I always wear a 7 1/2 but these are tight. I have been told that you do have to break them in, but much they are uncomfortable so far. When you pay $160 for a pair of sneakers you just fine think they will be uncomfortable . Hmmm?
