So Nike just made the bubbles look like the old ones but they're functionally different? I've felt like they've done that with the Air Max Plus 1 units too once they were redesigned to remove that horizontal seam and to be smaller.

I also began to wonder if Nike made the Plus 2 and Plus 3 units identical just to reduce manufacturing costs on their end.

I only have experience wearing the OG Air Max Plus 1 but I do remember the tuned air being super responsive whereas the retros kind a little more stiff.

Appears that way. If you look at all the regular Air Max Plus retro shoes you can see that the inside still has the Pebax hemisphere units that are not part of the air unit. If you look at these AMP3's and likely the 2s (don't have a pair yet) you can see that the pillars in the unit are just foam and NOT actually Tuned Air. As I've said, the 3 pairs of AMP 3's I have from the last year are ALL rock hard in the heel. Whatever they've put into that unit, it's garbage and has absolutely no give.

Can't wait for the Monogram one posted sooner

It would be cool if Nike released some TN1 with same structure but some patterns where they put the monogram, it would reinventer lines keeping them in the same time and the shoe would be visible from three perspectives, each one or both

“Tiffany” and volts would both look so much better with black laces. Atmos are dope aside from the tongue patches .
On a side note, did they Halloween (spiderweb) pair end up ever releasing?
