I was expecting these to sit and didnt even pay attention until I realized the big sizes evaporated. Got a size 13 on Hibbets and if they fit like the Pippen Uptempos Im either cutting off a toe or sending them back.

It's a dope shoe though. Only thing I worry about is the Barkley like fit/construction plus the leather being stiff.

Would def love to see that one. I just remember the Admiral heavy with the 2 Strongs and 96-97 dude played like less than 10 games. Wearing these while having the most egregious sock game in NBA history would be wild lol

D-Rob was never the same after that injury...but he didn't need to be. He had Duncan who pretty much took to the league like a fish to water. But you can't take for granted what he did from '89-'96...dude taking a team that wouldn't win 25 games without him and pretty much consistently won 50-60 games each year. I remember people always though he was Soft and lame and dorky...but seeing that Mother ****er play...and in THAT era...wasn't **** soft about him.

I wasn’t a Spurs fan at the time (because they got rid of my man Strickland) but watching a 7ft guy run the floor like him was amazing. Now, The Dream did light him up in the 95-96 playoffs, but The Admiral was still one of the best. Casuals don’t know what that era of the NBA looked like, and just how talented cats really were.

My pair from Hibbett. Man, had to go on a mission. None of my local malls got them. Went to the closest Hibbett. Girl comes out with a different Nike box (which also was beat). Guess the OG box must’ve took a beating in transit. Was the only sz 12 they had. Passed. Went to the next Hibbett. They didn’t get’em. Called a few others, next closest was another 15 miles away. Sheesh!
