Nike Air Max Uptempo '95 Retro Vol. 2025 They're back!

I have these in hand. I HATE that "Leather", I remember them being soft on the pairs my buddies had and everything. Of course...the quality back then was so much better. IIRC they were a 120-125 dollar sneaker right? Also, looking at the Teal at the bottom, That thickness and durability...them being the height they are...and even the Silver around the Visible AIR units...you can't convince me they weren't TRYING HARD to push these on David Robinson. I'm looking for the photo of him with them on...I SWEAR I've seen it...maybe it's Mandela effect? But just everything about the colorway seems to SCREAM "Spurs" at that time.
Yup. The shiny pleather is part of what makes them look gigantic. Because it’s so stiff it bulges outwards rather than contouring to your feet. So they just look horrid on feet. Bill Burr was just on complex hating on the ceos who bring these classics back, but make them worse. He nailed it lol. These blow.

Just finished watching that. He had me rollin!

Talking about some Yeezy's, "Oh ya, that looks like some old lady knitted it"

Retail was $135 in 95-96, I believe. I still can’t believe they haven’t brought back the black/white OG colorway.

Side Note, Bill Burr might be the closest we've had to another Carlin. I loved George, saw him at the Civic theatre 4 times. And there was actually supposed to be an Onsale for December shows here the weekend after he died. Seen Bill live several times, I think way back in 2002 when I was 21. I always remember even back on the Terrestrial radio days he was always going on Opie and Anthony. Him and Patrice and Jim Norton were my favorites from those days. Nick Dipaulo always annoyed me and Rich Vos was just too stupid to be allowed out unsupervised.

They were the same price as the 11s? Weren't the 11s 135 in 1995? Another shoe I had no chance of getting back in '95...too young for a job (14) and even though I was a good responsible kid, no stores around here would hire anyone under 16, because even though we were good kids, every place treated us like ******* hoodlums...they'd hire 13 year old girls at grocery stores...but us boys were SOL...

Jordan 11’s were $125. I was 8 and 9 in 95-96. Also, I grew up with a single mother with 3 other siblings, so I knew it was no chance I would get either shoe back then LOL. The closet I’ll get to those was either in the eastbay magazine, or window shopping at a shoe store lol. It’s crazy that paying over $100 for shoes back then was somewhat frowned upon. Now, it’s the drastic norm lol.

Yep, me too! I remember I wanted to pinstripe Jordan jersey authentic from champion. I remember they were $100 on those eastbay magazines. You making me feel nostalgic now lol. Remember bringing them to school to show people? lol. It was like, you had the “juice” for that day having the latest issue of the eastbay magazine. Good times!

Jd $115 order shipped 🔥

Also looks like they’re still using the black strip up to the laces on the Chicago pair 🙃

They're cool to look at but I don't think I'm in love with them. Just don't see myself wearing them...anyone need an 11?

My pair from the FNL sale this morning already shipped, supposed to get to me tomorrow.

Stopped by a local Hibbett in Houston and they only had 10.5 left and under. May be wrong about these sitting for a while in store 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still think Foot Lockers are gonna have pairs for a while.

I could be misremembering, but wasn’t the swoosh on the tongue teal on the OG’s?

And I can’t believe the Chicagos still have the black strip connecting from the toe to the laces and the white air bags. Unforgivable
