Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

Are these running shoes with the super thick midsoles supposed to be good for your knees in the long run? They're strictly for long distance running correct?

Any drawbacks as well? Do they weaken your calves? Just want to know what the true pros/cons are. That's all. Thanks.

many actually use the super stack non-plated super shoes for easy or recovery runs

and while the V+ arent a super shoe, this article is a good read and also talks about hight stacks and the pros and cons

Disappointed with the colorway. I'll get the gray colorway instead.

Shhhiiii, I like this colorway over the super explosive orange colorway that they flooded every store with for the V+ launch. They are trying to make that Super Bright Orange colorway of the V+ to be as popular as the Volt Green from the Pegasus 41 launch..............it doesn't hit as good as the Pegasus 41 Volt Green's imo.

Hell, this colorway that you do not like hits just as good as the Pegasus 41's Volt Greens for me.

U tripping this new colorway is beautiful in hand

Can anyone comment on thoughts on the Vomero Plus' breathability and the width of the toebox in comparison to the Vomero 18s? I really liked the fit of the Vomero 18s since they were relatively wide for a Nike shoe to me IMO!

Several review videos have indicated the plus is more breathable. I’m still waiting on my pair to arrive to come the 18 to the plus myself.

Was able to get mayfly peg premium for $177 shipped via stockx. Probably a swoosh reseller. Excited to wear these for casual but might have to try a mile (my personal limit lol) just to see how they are

Breathability is noticeably better in the V+ compared to the V18. They definitely do not run as hot as the V18, which feels like a blanket. V+ also feels a tad wider than the V18, but that may be because the upper is thinner and gives a little easier than the V18. But to me, the upper in the V+ feels like it has a little less vertical volume than the V18, so if you have a high instep or found the V18 cramped from top to bottom, you may need to size up a half size. I normally wear a 9.5, including in the V18, and tried on the V+ in 9.5 and 10. The 9.5 was wide enough but felt potentially a little cramped vertically with thick socks. But the 10 felt a little too roomy, so I went with the 9.5. I've done one short run in them and the vertical volume issue has pretty much resolved itself.

How does the wildhorse lineup compare to the Pagasus Trail? I have the Trail 4s (GTX) and absolutely love them; no desire to even try the 5, and the design doesn't appeal to me any more than the 4.

Heads up y'all, the lace holes on the Vomero Plus are possibly defective. Tug on the first lace holes (nearest the toes) and the second to last lace hole (the thread loop not the plastic covered one). The thread loop lace holes are only secured by glue and a single thread. Not even joking, a single, thin, wimpy *** thread.

where the peg trail is positioned as a door to trail hybrid, the wildhorse is a true trail shoe ideal for the 50K distance or longer. i haven't tried the X yet, but the WH8 is super comfy, has a full react midsole (which feels amazing), and a much improved outsole with 5mm lugs that perform well on technical terrain.

i've logged a ton of miles in the peg trail 4 (my thoughts mirror yours exactly and honestly think it's one of the best shoes i've ever owned) and WH8 (aces at never summer 55K, point to point from yosemite to mammoth, and the kalalau trail) and love both equally.

The dude at the Nike store here does a ton of trail running and was saying that the outsole on the wild horse is fantastic.

I’m in the I love my peg trail 4s camp though.
