i really dont think so man. even casual runners are a maybe, RE: my comment yesterday. real runners know that 200$ is absurd to spend on shoes that last 2-3 months MAX, and i although lightweight as well as comfy i dont think the air unit is that great of a medium for a running shoe. heres my reasoning regardless of what anyone else says. A lot of running is propriocptive and tactile feedback. yes you want the cushioned ride but as a runner i still kind of need the pavement pounding feeling. if you run, that makes sense.Except that Vapormax is not just a lifestyle shoe and will generate considerable sales to runners.
will they sell as lifestyle shoes hell yes. just as racers did. but no serious runner runs in racers. go to a marathon or half marathon or any kind of iron man and i challenge you to find a person wearing air max. you wont... maybe racers sure but likely asics, brooks, the pegasus nikes, vomeros. something with a real sole.
