Why the **** are these so limited on launch day

I swear Nike does everything it can to annoy people that want to give them money

They weren't hard to get. I was able to scoop 2 pair thru SNKRS fairly easy.

There’s slight irritation where the last lacehole meets the toungue. Probably something thicker socks/break in can fix. Observing the pics above, dbook wears the toungue slightly higher on part that causes irritation.

Idk man. Are these an improvement? Sure. But the one was pretty solid with some good colorways.

I think the 1s are way better. But I like the 2s a little.

Ones were, in my opinion, the worst sigs of all time. Knockoff b grade air force 1s and i can’t believe someone agreed to release them.

I’ll rather have any sig before those, including but not limited to starburys, cwebb dadas, sprewells with the spinning wheels, andrew wiggins joints, even tho they might be number 2 worst ever.

I went the same size as Book 1 (TTS), shoe will def need break in time. Def feel like I'll need a couple of sessions to fully break in. I'm sure the knit upper will def be a better option

I wouldn't trust anyone from that sub. It became a Chinese brand echo chamber and a Nike+adidas hate train a long time ago. That sub hated the Book 1s even if it was a good performer.

This. 100% true. Buy some reps and you're praised. Buy some actual Kobes and they'll downvote you. (I've just seen it, I only have a couple pair of Kobes).

You'd think Way of Wade shoes were on every single NBA player's feet the way that sub is.

They have their favorites of course, so some models get spared, but ask about buying between 2 or 3 Nike models and the suggestions will all be to ditch those and buy some Way of Wades.

Case in point:

From just 3 weeks ago. Look through the replies and 95% of the shoes recommended are chinese brands - way of wades, jokers, anta, and the few Nikes mentioned either get trashed or barely upvoted. Even mentioning the Cut 1s and mentioning Kobes - those comments barely get upvotes.

But you got people in there talking about get Joker 1s and Klay Thompsons and 361s and Aaron Gordon 4s and 5s. The vast majority of people you hoop with - nobody wears these shoes. Nobody's wearing them in college that I see. Nobody's wearing them in the NBA except the guy whose shoe it is.

I suppose it's like a funhouse mirror for how people overseas experience culture around American sports like the NBA/NFL/MLB. Everything they see they can't get, or nobody around them is wearing it or playing in it.

Like I'm sure a bunch of people in that sub live in China or these other markets and see guys with these shoes on. But saying things like "I think any WOW shoe smokes most shoes on the market nowadays" is wild.

And then one guy lists shoes and it's literally every chinese brand out there, and new balance. Just like anything to avoid listing a Nike shoe (though in a later comment they do reference GT Jumps): "wow 10 mid, li ning gamma, 361 AG5 and AG4, KT 10, NB two wxy v2, v3, nb hesi low v2, kawhi 4, dame 9, eqlz 270, mbo1, mb02 Rick and morty."

The young players seem to like the Chinese brands a lot.

I’ve seen a lot Lin-ing, Anta Kyries amd Jokers in lately.

Honestly Nike hasn’t come out with a universally loved versatile shoe since the Kyrie line.
