thoughts? saw some comments from the hb blog saying it promotes the oppression of women.

another person said that it has a greek goddess symbol on it, which is ironic. others like the idea.

thoughts?

Props for Nike!

Olympic weightlifting for women will never be the same....

Oppression? Nobody say this for nuns?

What is oppression are these regular thots with no talent being exploited on social media.

They made a barbie for that one american fencer (forgot her name smh) a while back. First barbie doll with a hijab.

I rate it

Big up nike, probably costs more than it should tho.

No doubt filled with all sorts of bs "tech" to justify them racketing the price up when they know damn well they just cut the face off their balaclavas and renamed them.

Ibtihaj Muhammad (Woman in the picture) is from my home town. She deserves a ton of credit for this happening.

Nothing but a positive from where I'm standing.

Not sure how anyone could see this in a negative light, other than if you’re an islamophobe.

The semantics do make a difference when we’re talking about religious garb.

Especially when that particular religion illicits a specific response from a certain segment of the population.
