If I may chime in on the access code situation...
my theory (key words right here, keep this in mind when you're reading this) is that it may have been a bot deterrent seeing that there were some tweets about selling bot services for reservations. Now, unfortunately, it did not bold well for everybody, but had bot services been able to sweep through all of the Tuesday slots, things would be all bad.
Why did Tuesday have the access code while Wednesday did not? Let's look at it this way: everyone was going to go for Tuesday, especially at the earliest time slot. People confused "Purchase Appointments" as "Trial Appointments," when they were not. "Trial appointments" were made for trying on with the assumption that you're not going to ask for a size to buy while "Purchase Appointments" are made to try on and buy your desired size. Reflecting back on the first batch of sign-ups in NYC, notice how there were those who had a "Trial Appointment" for one store that had no size when booking vs. those who had the "Purchase Appointment" mentioned they had a size locked in. Since there may have been some that did not realize that, those people may have just wanted to jump the gun on that Tuesday option, especially if they were gonna pay some bot script to fill in information for them. The reason the "Access Code" may have worked against them is that apparently, you might have been able to type anything, and you would've gotten in. Someone in here typed "future," and another person from what I read on Twitter typed "hyperadapt." For some reason, both words worked. So for all those reasons, Wednesday had no "Access Code" section, because it was likely predicted that people were going to aim for Tuesday no matter what.
Again, this is just my theory and my thought. By the way, if you overhear anyone during the appointment mention about this theory/thought, it's likely me that you overheard.
However, I will never unveil myself in person!
Alternatively, it could likely just have been a glitch at the worst time possible, but I wanted to help pour your glasses half-full just to give you some extra insight and thoughts.
