Certainly we can all agree that Ja was on the trading block, right? So evidence of his low trade value in part, is the fact that he's still a grizzly.

Cam Thomas was waived and claimed. That's different than his trade value, which is prob still a bag of beans.

The insiders also said there was definitely interest but the initial asking price was way too high. They even said the Grizzlies came down from that too, but again it comes down to price tag. Which will be cheaper in the offseason, where it's guaranteed hes playing for someone else. Not being traded doesn't equal no one wants him. They want him at their price or somewhere in between their and Grizzlies's.

They definitely could rebuild with Ja. IF, IF, IFFFFFFF Edey stays healthy a core with Ja, Ced, Edey, and a solid pick wing will be nice especially if they build a solid bench. Get more shooting and use some picks for solid veteran presence.

No they did not pick this coach to make Ja happy. There’s been reports earlier this season that they have been butting heads and don’t really get along. He’s loyal to the Org but not who’s coaching it. He should honestly want to leave to get a fresh restart elsewhere.

Just to reiterate, I saw the Jurassic Park commercial during the super bowl, and hoped it was for the 3(!) colorways of the Ja 3s that are the "Ja Rassics".

I thought it would have been awesome if it was a commercial for the 3 shoes, since literally everyone that has seen those thinks they're a great colorway. I'm trying to think of a better movie-themed colorway of an athletic shoe. I'm the biggest sneakerhead amongst people I'm around but somebody came to me like "did you see those Jurassic Park Ja 3s? I gotta get those."

Just saying, with Nike's stock doing what it is (being way below where they want it), they should have mass produced that joint and put out a super bowl commercial and had them release March 10 instead of April 10th. Make em a GR. Jurassic Park was the highest grossing movie in history between 1993-1998, at the same time Michael Jordan was doing his 2nd 3-peat.

Being dramatic is saying a 26 yr old, in an underachieving organization that has its own issues going on, ignoring that a change of scenery would probably do him a whole lot of good, is halfway out of the league. Him not playing well could be due to multiple factors that your choosing to ignore to try to get this point off.

Trying to equate Kyrie, who was on sig number 8 and got dropped because of controversy behind things he said and did, and Zion who has played nearly a hundred games less than Ja (who has also been injured quite a bit) and has been tied to Jordan Brand with a dud for his sig is a pretty big reach.

Nike don’t get “it” anymore. You’re right on this and overall they should have had more commercials playing into all his “drama” and “storylines”.

90’s Nike would have had a whole dinosaur/animal themed campaign around these shoes as a whole with the scratch pattern
