OGs left, Protros right. Protro flyknit far more muted in brightness and is way more red-heavy.
OG top, Protro bottom. Color difference more obvious here.
OG swoosh is a slightly pearlized gray/white.
Protro swoosh is straight up silver.
Not that anyone sees the bottom of your shoes, but the OG on the left is more volt on the foam bit vs. the yellow on the Protro.
Protro on LEFT, there is less overlay on the heel area. You can also see how the finish on the OG was iridescent while the Protro is not. Also, the airbrushed-looking overlay on the OG is a matte finish that looks more premium than the glossy finish on the Protro.
Protro left, OG right. Flyknit coloring and how pronounced the weave is on the OG is clear here. Also, far less "speckle density" on the Protro midsole splatter.
You can also see the slight adjustment to the outsole curvature on the Protro on the left.
I'm gonna rock these to a Super Bowl gathering shortly, and maybe they will turn out to feel better on foot than the OGs thanks to the React foam. But from a pure looks perspective in hand, the OGs unsurprisingly and across the board trump the Protros in every single way. I'm happy to have this new pair so I can keep my OGs as more of a collector's item, which is something I RARELY do. But it's as usual just a nicely passable substitute for the originals that is certainly a visual and materials downgrade. Could've been worse, but could've been noticeably better on Nike's part.
