I'm willing to bet it's heel and forefoot units with a shank plate

On the pink pair you can see a shiny black area near the arch on the medial side and on the bottom of the outsole, and there's no way they put lebron in a sig with a foam midsole without some sort of significant torsional support built in.

The zoom units are probably toploaded because of how low the plate looks like it sits in the midsole.

most of us are ok with the upper. fine, whatever, it is what it is. but the midsole and cushioning. being used to air max, zoom, or the combination got my hopes up too much with these

I just creeped on Bryce's ig to see if I could get a little better an idea of the science and took some screenshots. The most intriguing thing is the circular indentation at the heel. That has to be impact protection in the form of air or double zoom. It looks identical to the middle pod of the 19. We have to remember that just because air isn't visible that it's not actually there. I'm smelling air in the heel and front loaded zoom like someone said before me. These red bottoms have me drooling

Forgot to mention in the last pic it appears that, in the heel at least, that we also have curvature like the 19 had

Air max completely encased in foam wouldn’t feel good. It wouldn’t have any space to compress/expand.

True, but I like Nikes approach to these. More minimalistic and might actually be playable for us mortals.

These are clean, but I'm just use to brons being bold or having that wow factor.

Technically that can't even be called an air max unit, it's just an encapsulated air unit like the forefoot in Jordan 3s or 4s.

Maybe its the bred colorway, and usually I like double swooshes (Sacai’s) but here it looks weird. Still like the pink pair the best.

Yeah, the double swoosh seems odd on the bred color-way.

There's definitely something there. I would guess the midsole is some new type of foam technology. Seeing as how these are the 20th anniversary it is more likely that it is than isn't. Especially considering no visible air or any of the other trinkets were used to

Haven't had this much interest in a non retro lebron sig since the 15 Watch program (never even owned a bron bred colorway cuz they're usually extremely underwhelming to me)
