It wasn't well received though. People warmed up to it, but it wasn't like the 20s or even the 21s. It still looks like a dead pigeon

No it was the first colorway of the monopoly pair that everyone saw. The majority said let’s see some other colorways look like first and thought there was potential. Then the Olympics hit and ppl started getting on board.
