Nike LeBron 23

The 20’s were an abomination!?!

Lol! The double swoosh and sticking out like a sword was super ugly to me! That most recent pink colorway drop looked better because the secondary swoosh is muted. Had Nike only used 1 swoosh along with Lebron and the LA fakers not selling Westbrook out and use him as a scapegoat then maybe I would think they are okay. 🤔🤣

Stop comparing the 23s with the 20s, comparing these to those abominations is flat out disrespectful to 23s! 💯😂

Calling the 20s an abomination is an abomination!

Yea they're most definitely not an abomination and having to tie in Westbrook (who played terribly there but has no correlation with these actual shoes) is just silly

20s were one of, if not the best performers Lebron has ever have.
We all have our thoughts as to what makes a shoe look good or not. I've been consistent with not liking the double swoosh and sword like swoosh. One swoosh and shorten it, we would be having a different conversation.

Just having fun. Correction, bron was wearing the 20s during the scapegoat time and even with the lopsided and inconsistent coaching, Westbrook actually played decent (18, 8, 7 anyone else with these stats there would be no issue) and plus Westbrook actually played. Where as bron and ad were in street clothes more than 50% of the time. Oh and I never said anything regarding the performance of the 20s.

Bron missing 16 games is more than half the season? now we're just yapping to yap

The PPG/RBG/ASG were not the issue. It was the other side of the ball and when the ball wasn't in his hands that was the issue. Rus 1st year was with Vogel and there was no inconsistent coaching. He couldn't pick up Vogel's defense,,and while his numbers were good for a 3rd option, he had lots of untimely mistakes and turnovers in games that hurt them. It was a huge talking point. The Laker thread on here a lone could tell you that.

But this isn't even about Westbrook. You brought him up. What was wrong was the comment of the 20's being an abomination and then correlating it with a player that has nothing to do with the shoes.

Back to the 23s please:lol:

From an aesthetics standpoint the 20's do absolutely nothing for me. I would take the LeBron 2, 4, and maybe even the 3's over the 20's. They aren't bad but I just don't even think about them. Forgettable. Probably because it just looks like a generic Nike bb shoe to me

Try again.

1st year bron played in 56 games
2nd year 55

Point being NONE of these players can build chemistry if only 1 out of 3 SHOWS UP to play.

It is an 82 game season, so not seeing how you came up with only missing 16 games. Also bron has one of the highest turnover ratios, but hey like others he gets excuses made for him.

Again the correlation is that is the year bron and company were using Brodie as scapegoat. Also as I pointed out, I was having fun with the post. Not that serious. Lol!

Oh and none of them picked any of the coaches defense including the coaches! 💯😂

From what I can see the 23s are gonna be that shoe unless Nike does what Nike does and changes it last minute or the continuation of terrible colorways!

you right ive been up since 4:30 and been here after being here until 8:30pm last night for morning football practices. math wasn't mathing, not fully awake yet, and have yet had any caffiene. Still, 26 games and 27 games aren't more than 50% of an 82 game season.

Regardless of the Westbrook talk (i know it was done in fun, I get that), it was just a dumb correlation for probably the best shoe in the sig.

back to the 23s now for good now

Close enough to missing more than half the season. The point is bron, ad and were not held accountable.

Never dumb. I clearly stated the correlation. I was coo bron up to the 19s. There are even a couple of 21s I am going to get.Once you get out of the 20s and put on the 23s, you'll be able to catch up to the correlation! 😋😂

Plus I have not deviated from the 23s topic like many of y'all deviate in every other thread. We ALL do it, nothing new. 🎯💯

That's not even that drastically different

Looks like it.
That’s what I’m saying. As soon as somebody published the leaks, he went on his Instagram and made it seem like we were getting a taste of what the shoe could be, and that it will look completely different when he leaked it on his own. But from these new self published photos of his, Nothing is different from the wear test other than adding the Nike check and the color scheme. I’m not mad or disappointed…Just calling out him bolstering of the shoe when nothing was drastically different between the unofficial leak and his official leak.

That's gen z making youtube comparison videos trying to sound like they know what the hell they're talking about. My playing days were in the late 90s and 2000s and there were some absolute tanks for hooping shoes back then. Nobody was griping over the weight difference of this vs that.
1s and 2s wearing "bigman" shoes. J. kidd wore Uptempo 3s at some point. Some even wore the Big Flyer Force

Yea that's what I'm saying. I ran point in high school and that was early 2000s and our coach decided one year it was a good idea for our team shoes to be those adidas a3 big man joints if anyone remembers those. Talk about HEAVY! Felt like running up and down the court with Kardashian luggage duct taped to your feet. Now you've got 18 year olds complaining over an ounce and a half 🙄

I like the shape of the toe box, but it looks really narrow

Got wide feet. Then joints gonna he treating my toes like...

As a wider footer myself Brons tend to be BBF friendly.

One of the reasons EYE have gravitated to LeBrons over the years.

EYE memba copping some KD 8s when they first dropped specifically these;

Tried to put them on and my feet were like:

Those joints were narrow af. :smh:

Have never eem attempted to cop a pair of KDs since.

The 23s intrigue me, need to see more colorways hopefully black based.

Fingers crossed we finally get a triple black pair of LeBrons in ages since this is potentially and probably his last season.

Yeah we probably played in the same era. back in 2010 and a few years after that I had a good rotation of 90s and current models for that year. In one rec league game I played almost 4 quarters wearing the Air Pippen 1 Retro (white colorway leather upper full air max unit...TANK) I exclusively play 5 and them joints held up real well in the paint. One of my teammates asked if he can see my shoes and was surprised how heavy they were specially after a hard game. I also had a concord kobe 6 back then but found it too light

I’m not for it, but for someone like Bron who is at more than likely the tail end of his career, I wouldn’t be opposed using his sig as a greatest hit with colorways. Take the best colorways throughout his sig line and try to replicate on the newest sig. Like as in a nod to the career.

I’m not for it 9 times out of 10, but with how they’ve struggled with colorways I’d just do that at this point.
