Zoomx forsure. Not sure if it has zoom air within
Since the line has gone to lows, it has been basically the same cushioning system for the 20 -22 with some tweaks. So, in an effort to do something different, they do the removable insert which basically eliminates people who either wear orthotics or don't like the feel of a removable insole.

Miss the days the line was mids or highs (they were of course heavier) and the line was more daring to try a different cushioning setup model to model and there was more latitude to do so because they were not limited low top silhouette. And you can only go so far in a low top with a line that is known for max cushioning and impact protection.

Again, hope this is like the Jordan 39 situation early on and someone gets them in hand and says otherwise. But all the people who are in know are reporting removable insert. So, we wait and see.

7/8 same cushioning and the 9 piggybacked off of the 8 P.S. 12/13/14 same cushioning. 15/16 same cushioning. Now the 20/21/22..

This is nothing new. If you miss the days, why not cop the retros? (Assuming you haven’t).

I love the XX-XXII but I still love hooping in my VII, IX and XVII (only highs I own AND ball in). Others will join that list eventually (AZG, II, XIX).

I get the last point of them drifting away from max cushioning but this line still gets the most cushioning out of all the Nike sigs. The only actual line that gets more is the GT Jump 1/2 and they’re shelved now. Only ZoomX in these will be kind of disappointing and to your point, but I think (and hope) that there’s a full length unit within the ZoomX.

I really don't mind LeBron's going low from the XX onwards, my beef is with Nike and their decision to MAKE EVERY SINGLE SIGNATURE SHOE A LOW TOP.

I know, times change and we are in the age of agility and freedom of movement but I still miss the days when I had the opportunity to choose a mid-/high-top sig if they feel good. And don't get me wrong, I hoop in low-tops 90% of the time, it's just like that old saying "variety is the spice of life."

Therefore, I have been whole heartedly enjoyed hooping in new Freak 7's as they are a wind of fresh air in Nike's hoop shoe catalog.

And before anyone comments here about other brands and their mid-/high-top models, I wish I was able to get them easier but in Northerm Scandinavia anything but Nike/Adidas is a rare commodity.

This is just my two cents and yes, I plan on getting LeBron 23's alongside with Ja 3's, while still continuing to yse my Freak 7's.

Nike is following the trends and cheaper manufacturing. We’ll get more lows until that phase passes.

Has anyone seen these with the crown midsole? I'm guessing these are AF1?

From what we can see about the initial prototype/samples of the OG model, I'm glad what's coming out doesn't looking anything like them
