Not a lot of zoomx/cushion

The black carrier beside it is Cushlon 3.0. That’s some beefy Cushlon but I would’ve preferred no ZoomX and a full length Zoom unit within the Cushlon or a Zoom strobel similar to the KD 14. Just off the tech prior to actually trying them I’m not too optimistic on their performance compared to the XX-XXII or even the XI. This is practically an XI but with foam cushion and a CF plate..

I hope so, I hope I’m wrong and they exceed expectations but I wouldn’t compare them to any other ZoomX basketball sneaker exactly because of their containment features. This would be the type of sneaker to pair with the amount of ZoomX in either of those 2 or even the GT Cut 3. That crown containment system looks SOLID.

100%. I can tell people who have and who haven’t played in ZoomX. It’s great in a running shoe or sporty casual shoe just walking around but in basketball? It is unstable as ****. I played in the GT cut 3, not the turbo yet which I hear is an improvement, and the lack of lateral stability in combination with playing on a foot bed of thick zoom X that also acts like a wedge heel in the back and gets thinner to the front to force you to keep you on your toes, was an absolutely horrible idea and kind of dangerous as a basketball shoe

Tbh this looks like a good amount of cushion… zoom x set inside of cushlon foam. Even in if the thickness of the zoom x was thinner than the 39 the cushlon should provide protection and response as well. Also the thickness of the the zoom x in the forefoot of the 39 might be around the same thickness of the lebron 23 it just may be a little higher off the ground due to the zoom unit it those

The zoomx/cushlon is caged just about the whole way around, it’s not going to be unstable. The underfoot feel will probably be similar to something like the AE 1s or recent Hardens

We'll see. Jordan 40's didn't have GS. There already seems to be a lot of pairs out in there wild for purchase and testing purposes. For the Jordan 40 they only had them on display. Even if they make them relatively limited I don't see them going for much above retail just like the Jordan 40's despite them being limited.

Miami Twice pair has me wishing they would’ve put the actual Elite colors on the XXIII as opposed to the colorful route.. they’re cool as is but with the Red/Black and Gold textured swoosh maybe they do another color since they already have the swoosh for that combo?

I don’t see every color being limited, certain ones will definitely only hit FTL/HOH/SNKRS, maybe a boutique though and miss the likes of FNL/JD/Champs/Snipes. That I could see.
