Nike LeBron 23

White labels were the pair I couldn't speak about. Right now things are very much up in the air re: House 330, LBJ Foundation and myself. My work schedule is preventing me from being available for a lot of things I'd like to be part of. Not coming back home when that was the plan and what all marketing was built around for months also problematic.
So is the hardwood pair it then? The Watch the Thrown pair? Anything else or we on to the 24 now?

It's funny, I have no idea where the wtt pair came from, if it's AI or not. Nobody has seen those that would know. So my guess is the Cavs pair is it, which was to coincide with him coming back. This has been something we've been told including by people in LeBron's management team that we have coordinated with for MONTHS. Even to the point at the Cavs/Lakers game, this was being discussed. Both the Stewie & HC pair were late adds by Nike because of what Klutch had intimated to Nike about his plans. To say today has been eventful is an understatement. Lotta damage control and anger out there over someone who does a lot for a community while simultaneously kicking it.

Was that at the 1st Cavs/Lakers game in Cleveland? If so that was before Harden was traded there. He could have been swayed after the Cavs got Harden into rethinking that.

So this was suppose to release too?

It was before the Harden trade, but RIch had been trying to get DG outta here for a while.

Yes, but the final product was never shown to any of us. We just knew it was a third and final pair in honor of year 23. The Friends and Family thing seems to be news to most of us. Some people knew, some didn't. I'm not an employee or anything so anything told to me I try to clear that I am able to repeat.

While Rich may have wanted that, they probably didn’t want Harden to be the answer that came with that.

LeBron has said some nice stuff about James in the past, the way he plays the game(which gets an eye roll from me), I don't like Harden either. But James was not the issue. If Embiid is moved for Anthony Davis in the next few weeks I wouldn't be shocked. By all means read into that from a Cavs perspective as well because that was the first thing that I heard from two Cavs employees today. #LeGM

2 things: LeBron would have announced a week ago he was coming back to Cleveland if they had traded for AD or he somehow got Dallas to come off Kai. His obsession with reconcilling with Kyrie is strange but Dallas isn't dumb, they weren't trading him. Washington wanted Mobley, Cavs would have done Allen+filler.

While he may have said nice things about James in the past, that could just be him being cordial. There was/has been talk about him not really being a fan of Harden dating back to numerous all star games where they were picking teams. It showed quite a bit then.

But as with AD, that’s his boy. I’m not surprised by that at all. But I’m also not surprised if the Jalen Brown trade, as well as the Harden extension, swayed his decision.

Harden hasn't signed anything, because he was leaving room for Bron. Cavs need to get him outta here but that's my basketball opinion. He's quite possibly the best worst player I've ever watched if that makes sense. Brown having so much beef with Nike, and knocking Bronny AND Embiid knocking LeBron for going to LA to begin with, it's gonna be a lot of work to make that team stay whole and sane. Mike Gansey is the right guy to lead those dudes from the top though, single best exec I've ever seen in action in being around basketball since 2010. His brother is also an underrated coach(G League coach for years), should have been in the NBA by now.

My fault, I knew the extension is/was coming. How much was dependent upon if Bron signed.

Right wink and nod type deal. I'm still not sure where this thing is gonna fall, but I think Harden is getting a lot less than you people think he might.

What was the fallout between him and Kyrie for him to want to reconcile so bad?

He treated Kai like a child, Kyrie wanted a partnership, a tag team if you will. He found out LeBron wanted to trade him for Paul George, and love for I forget;
Maybe Paul. They met there was a big blow up. It’s part of why Griff left after the 2016 title, he had enough of trying to babysit egos. I don’t think there is legit hate as there was now, but I think LeBron wants to show he can be human and reteam put make peace. I’ll never forget Kyrie telling LeBron “i already have a dad.”

LeBron is a lot to unpack. As a Laker fan, I'll just leave it at I'm glad we get to move on finally. Good luck to him in Philly.

Been on the fence about the Hurt Feelings, but majority of LeBron's I've owned got let go because as performance shoes they sometimes made zero sense., and seem more for marketing., and admittingly looking cool. The Tinker comments probably confirm the reality of those sentiments.

Something Lebron said?
Or something Tinker said?

During the session, which was recorded and posted on YouTube, Hatfield said he stopped personally developing James’ signature shoes because he didn’t like dealing with those around James.

“I don’t like working with LeBron’s entourage,” Hatfield said. “It’s too many people, too many ideas, too many opinions.”

It is the second time in the last six months Hatfield has publicly taken a shot at James various friends and managers. During a similar event last October in Santa Monica, Calif., Hatfield told a group of listeners at a shoe store that “I used to work on LeBron’s, until his entourage kind of pissed me off.”

DG is represented by Rich though. That doesn’t seam a little off though?
Right, he wanted DG out of Cleveland, he got what he wanted for his client but now he's all of a sudden mad? Rich Paul, and this will probably get me in trouble with people closer but whatever is as big a problem to the LeBron Legacy as he has been for the NBA. I look at the Gary Trent investigation and think, man this guy has it all but wants to do something like this for such a lower tier client?

I have so much to say that has nothing to do with sneakers regarding the LeBrontourage. It seems like the 4 years in Cleveland were so much more peaceful and the last 8 years in LA was an absolute circus and to be fair I've only been around the last two or so in my current capacity but still. I hear all these stories, obviously the LeBron Business is growing daily but woof.
