Waiting for the black slides but I was at the Nike store this morning and I tried on a pair of red ones.
I can confirm that majority of the reviews I've seen online so far since yesterday seem on point and do a great job describing the 001 and 002 as far as the differences, the overall feeling and the sizing are concerned.
So first impression from the store experience so far: the feeling of the 001 and 002 under foot is 100% unique and surprisingly pleasant I should say, even better than I imagined.
It is true that you feel the nods noticeably more in the shoes(002) and while you can feel it in the slides(001) too, the feeling is a bit more muted. To be honest I like both as each one gives a unique experience and I can see each one for different occasions depending on what you are looking for at a given moment or situation.
At first, judging from pictures on the web I wasn't really a fan of the red ones, but after seeing them in person, the color leans a bit more towards infrared than plain red, or at least in my eyes while being at the store, which was unexpected so I really liked them better in person.
Well worth a try IMO.
I see both more as house shoes than anything else or indoors, at least that's the way I intend to use them.
Also it was crazy being at the store because of the flow of people comin' in and out ouf the store were there expressly for that, asking if they had any left in their size and seeing many people leaving happy with a W.
I was lucky enough to be able get the shoes(002) in my size and that more than made my day! I had been waiting for that for many months and I was bummed to see that finally the 002 would not be available on NDC in Canada before Feb 26 as they have been pushed back almost 2 months, 001 and 002 were initially supposed to release at the same time on Jan 8, just like in the States.
Luckily for me my local Nike Store came to the rescue with some available and big thanks to youtuber Snkr Tech Talk from Calgary for the heads up in his review if you are in here buddy, you made my day and even more with the heads up, appreciate you!

edit: after inspection, one of my freaking nodes is embedded at an angle which may make these uncomfortable. def returning if i can coop the black pair at retail
the infrared def a hot cw, would want to keep if they weren’t messed up

Missed restock in UK but the way Nike advertising it should be obtainable without dipping into resale market. Would also help if they had more stockists for mens sizes

i love them i think they’re dope and i was really scared about sizing and i couldn’t imagine sizing up tbh
im a tts 11 and thats what i got.
for reference recent shoes i got were
taxi 12- tts
ae2- .5 size up
ja 3- .5 up
adidas sl .5 up
i only tried them on for about 20 mins to walk about my house and i feel nothing
if they wanted me to focus or be zen they should have sent adderal and a xanax but maybe i need to spend more time in them. i dont feel the nodes that much
i’ll keep them though like i said i like how they look

Ya these are a trip to walk in. You can feel every single node pressing against your feet like reflexology or walking on bubble wrap. Gonna use them at work next week. Im a wide-footer and stayed tts and these fit fine to me.

Did you guys know that both of these shoes and mules got the Seal of Acceptance stamp from the American Podiatric Medical Association? It makes me wonder how legit this Nike Mind stuff is since I'm skeptical. Also advertised on the produt pages too (maybe just the US pages).

After striking out on SNKRS went to my local Nike store and got the light bone and solar reds. Got the last pair in my size the smoke greys were sold out. I had to ask for the shoes off of the mannequin.
