Most of the reviews I’ve seen are underwhelming from a product perspective not just this particular one. It has nothing to do with respect of the reviewer. At least my perspective. Your results may vary.

I think the 001 and 002 should really be viewed as 2 different products.
Same technology but they have distinct differences in their implementation and feel.
It is really hard to quantify a sensation as it is very subjective, plus it varies from one person to another. But for having both, I'd rate the feeling underfoot of the 001 at about 1 fifth the intensity of the 002.
I really like both for different reasons.
I can wear the 001 for an hour or more as they are really relax whereas with the 002 they are so intense I can only wear them for a few minutes at a time until it becomes too much for me as they give a very different impression. It's not a negative thing, just have to use each model in the right dose and context.

These so ugly they look like Golf Shoes. They should have just added laces and a back piece to the slides and they’d have a easy double hit. Maybe they’re saving it for later

Thought the 001’s were to make you feel calm and the 002’s to enhance/stimulate brain activity and awareness, thus the difference in experience between the two? I did not get the 001’s because they just look atrocious to me. I got the 002’s to use for work as I was really interested in all this nueroscience stuff and they look wearable with office attire. I’ve worn them for 3 days straight about 7 hrs/day, walking about the building but mostly sitting. I have wide feet and they are fine, not uncomfortable to me at all. I could size up if I wanted more toe room or if I wore thicker socks. Would I wear these to Disneyland? Absolutely not, but I don’t think that’s the purpose of this shoe. Someone mentioned that making few mistakes while learning piano is a result of a placebo effect. Maybe, maybe not, but I did not try expecting or believing that these shoes would enhance my learning since I practice daily. All I can say is that reading notes and subliminally playing the correct keys was a lot sharper. I‘Ll definitely be grabbing that black pair.

I was fortunate enough to be able to get a pair of the very few black ones available on release day. I really really like how they look in person.

Copped a pair of the red 001 and got my first wear today. This is definitely a different feel. The shoe felt kind of stiff at first but loosened up a bit after walking in them for a while. I don’t know if I’d recommend these for an all day wear but that might change as the shoe breaks in more.
I’m a M9 and was only able to snag a W11 which should be a M9.5 but the inside of the shoe says M10/W11
. The unintentional size up feels like the perfect fit. I’d recommend a half size up if you’re between sizes and a full size up if you’re already a whole size.
Pretty dope shoe. I’m looking forward to moseying around in these. Can’t wait to see how they’ll feel post-workout. Definitely spinning the block on the black pairs on 02/05.

Nothing is extraordinary about the 001's, but I like the way they look. Especially the red.
You don't notice them as much on carpet, but it's a difference on hard surfaces. They're still comfortable to me though.
The size up felt better to me, because the toe box is narrow and my heels aren't right at the end.

Had a chance to take a look at these in hand and I noticed that this is the reason why these slides feel so snug. The bulges that is right above your foot are very firm and do not have much give. That can definitely be uncomfortable for us wide footers.

My joints were tight there in the first wear. On my third wear (wearing them as I type) and they feel great. Lot's of give to the point where they still feel snug but not uncomfortable. Looking forward to the black cw drop on 02/05

in my experience it seems like the 001 do need a little break in period over a few wears in order for you to start to feel the nodes moving to a greater degree. Gradually you start to notice the nodes working more and more in a similar fashion to the 002, but still a bit less intense when comparing.
The 002 give you the full effect right out of the box.
As I said in earlier posts, when you try on the 001 in store or at home the first 2-3 wears, they feel comfy right away, but the feeling of nodes moving under your foot is muted a great deal.
Previously I had rated it initially at about 1 fifth the intensity of the 002, but after about 2 weeks, I'd say it has become probably closer to 1 third the intensity of the 002 after the break in period and the difference is significative enough to notice.
