It’s a shame became it’s a beautiful jersey.

Was able to get both of these Nike Customs discounted ($115 for the Swing, $150 for the Authentic) so I pulled the trigger.

Really wanted the City in authentic but just wasn’t an option so I settled for a City Swing and an Authentic on an old blank Fanatics is peddling lol it resembles this years Statement but looks better IMO.

Not a giant Custom fan but happy with how both of these turned out. Hopefully we get a Banchero authentic next season

Really wanted the City in authentic but just wasn’t an option so I settled for a City Swing and an Authentic on an old blank Fanatics is peddling lol it resembles this years Statement but looks better IMO.

Lol idk man I’m but happy with the end product. I’m guessing the same spot did the custom for both the Swingman and authentic since shipping originated from Buffalo, NY for both jerseys, even tho I ordered em separately.

Yeah I know some team stores do these and others don’t touch em.

There’s so much variation from team to team, sucks those Portland authentics ended up being heat pressed, was debating on pulling the trigger

I had a feeling those rip city had to be some kind of custom with so much stock. Canceled my order earlier so I could see photos first.

Dang man. Ordered one too, even though I was a bit skeptical about the large quantities and the discounted price. Would cancel but my order has already been shipped.

Honestly, even though I definitely prefer properly stitched authentic's, I can live with the fact that the numbers are heat pressed... as long as it is done right. I have a rare older Giannis jersey from the Bucks store, also heat-pressed, but the work is absolutely perfect, from number placement, to spacing, to the curvature of the name. You wouldn't recognize the heat-pressed letters and numbers unless you turn it inside out.

However, just based off these pics you posted, the Lillard City jersey looks like a poor, lazy custom job. It is definitely not the jersey shown the website. The '0' on the front is too far off to the left... it should be under 'i' & 't' of 'city'. The curvature on the name 'Lillard' also looks like a typical rushed custom job and what really gets to me is that the letters are not even aligned right, the 'a' is significantly lower than 'l'

Arghhhhh... I live in Germany too so I'm probably gonna have to pay custom duties on this jersey and sending it back doesn't look like a realistic option. I'm hoping for a decent custom job otherwise I will probably be forced to go the re-sale route

Take my eyes off the thread and the Knicks city edition pops up lol made it over to MSG but no more Brunson in my size so I ended up getting the last Barrett in my size

I'm thinking about getting the Brunson online now... this jersey is really growing on me. Do you know if the letters & numbers are properly stitched?

People complaining about "customs" this has been the thing since 2017. Yes some team stores are better than others, but unless you're getting a premade version from nike.com, their are going to be imperfections.

Customs rarely will ever arrive like a retail jersey but the problem is more than just imperfections.

The biggest issue imo is not knowing ahead of time if the things gonna be stitched or heat pressed due to lack of info. There’s a huge spectrum for how F’d up it could look. A slight imperfection is aight but super crooked numbers/name, etc ain’t the same ballpark

Also not everybody’s been buying customs since 2017 lol For some it might be their first custom and they expecting a halfway decent product considering the price is usually more than a retail.

That said I’ve been happy with the two customs I’ve ordered lol

It’s not just imperfections, there is a difference in quality of twill too. I haven’t seen the heat press stuff but I know the custom ones with the white paper tend to be thicker than retail versions.
