They did the same on my black/red/violet pair..
I 100% didn't ask for it (CS double checked for me in the end), and it was so reflective I ended up sending them back because there were virtually no conditions where it looked violet.
Very annoying.

Yeah, the codes have been pretty region specific recently.. There were some clues one was coming soon because there were some minor price increases on some sale items to keep them over margin.
Bought a load of the Hydrogen Blues for my Mrs today cos she seems to really like them.
May not have mentioned the code to her tho..
