Can you still return Nike product to local Nike stores/outlets for a store credit? I remember doing this years ago and have a pair of sneakers that I recently purchased that I do not want. I don't want to bring these to work and then to the store only to find out they don't anymore.

You can bring NDC purchases to return in store within 30 days. After that, they will tell you to mail them back. I brought in a pair of shoes from last year and they gave me a box to stick the mailing label on, but their system couldn't process the return on the spot.

edit: Just reread your post and realized you're asking about credit. Yes, you can bring in unworn shoes regardless of time. They will look up the lowest price in the system and offer that amount to you in the form of instore credit (not usable on NDC). Sometimes a manager will be nice and make the exception and just give you a regular gift card if they feel like it.
