^ Good looks NDC rep I chatted must have loaded up the wrong info or something $150 is much more palatable
I actually just got off the phone with a NDC rep and he said the Bright Mango pair will be available tomorrow via NDC and Swoosh from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and the retail price will be $180. I guess we'll see the actual release price tomorrow. I'm only concerned about the mulit pair personally.
I guess not exactly trainers but these are the turn edition and I am not sure if it its thread worthy but it does look pretty good. I didn't find any designated thread for the past iterations of shoes either so... Air Zoom Trout 3 Turf
Hi everyone, I want to apologize in advance if this is the wrong place for this post, but this is the best spot I have found. I am in need of a new training shoe, for everything from heavy squats to use for sprinting and agility ladders. I realize this is a lot to ask of just one shoe. I did use lunarglide 5s for a while and they are too beat up now. I got lunarglide 7s, and when I put my superfeet insoles in them, my foot is too elevated and I feel prone to ankles rolling. I have a pair of lunar caldras that I have worn around the house and feel pretty good, but I am wondering if a pair of the older Lunar TR1s that appear to come up a little higher may serve me better? I also have feet on the wider side. Thanks for any input you guys may have!
I think Metcons are best for your needs: http://niketalk.com/t/615560/nike-metcon-thread-metcon-2-releases-w-16-colorways-id-on-01-23-16
I gotta agree, I wouldn't recommend the Lunar TR1 for someone with a wide foot, I made that same mistake myself and every time I put them on they feel super tight around my foot
I have tried the metcons on and liked them, I just wasn't sure how they would be for anything with jumping and sprinting. The Caldras seemed like they may be more versatile. What are your thoughts on Caldra vs Metcon in this scenario?
Metcon are made specifically for CrossFit which involves jumping and sprinting. Is it the best trainers for those specific part of training? Nope. But it is sufficient enough and it was made to accommodate those trainings as well. It is probably the most versatile training shoes out there if you want to do a bit of everything if I am being honest. I do plenty of HIIT with the Metcons and they perform exquisitely for me. I've never tried on the Caldras but it has the same sole set-up as the TR1 and I didn't like it as much after a few sessions with it. I initially liked it but had to return it because I just remember it being too tight and had some pains of sorts, Caldras upper might have fixed that but I can't really say.
The Caldra is a great shoe... for dynamic training. If you want to squat heavy, though, go with the Metcon. The Caldra's heel is far too soft for planting your heels.
Thanks for the feedback. I think you were able to describe what I will be doing better than I could -- dynamic training. Sounds like I should stick with the Caldras. Thanks for the input you guys!
I wouldn't. It's a track shoe and has no support and minimal lateral traction. Designed to go forward.
I mean you totally can. But if you are doing a lot of leg exercises (squats, lunges, deadlifts) I would avoid them and use something super stable like Metcons. But if you aren't going hard, then you'll be totally cool.
