How is the comfort on these compared to the AF1's? I'm assuming much softer materials, but I've never owned 90's.

i prefer the fit of 90s in general. But it’s not gonna be crazy different. They both run pretty similar in size - tts to .5 down. I think the 90 has the edge aesthetically. Few more details and subtleties. (Feel the same for the OG ow versions). Both extremely wearable.
