took the OG’s out for a short 3mi and man, I’ve got to say I’ve been spoiled by both React & Zoom X cushioning b/c these felt like there was no give/cushioning lol
knees were in a little bit of pain but nothing crazy. I don’t run as much as I used to, but it did remind when the ZF’s first came out how excited everyone was about the shoe and what potential it had

i dunno if i'm crazy but the triple black zf1's always felt firmer to me than the other colors.

yup i remember when i used to run in my SPs after having the epic reacts/vaporfly/peg turbos and the comfort on them just weren’t doing it for me anymore. nike for sure has us spoiled with all these different options

I'm not seeing anywhere that's releasing today. DSG shows April 20th release date and RW said they're not releasing today and don't have a concrete date.

Got a vague non-answer from Nike support chat for the Valerian Blue Vaporflys. Seems like all the COVID confusion is making this release worse. Just gotta keep eyes peeled I guess.

For those looking for a cheaper alternative to the Hyperice Hypervolt. I can’t vouch for it but it’s Costco so if it sucks return it.

i wouldn't skimp on recovery tools. in that case i would just invest in a foam roller and lacrosse ball.

I have the $450 hypervolt and compared it to the $60 one from alibaba. Minus maybe a few grams in weight, noise level and strength were exactly the same. I gave the $60 one to a friend maybe 6 months ago and it’s still working great. Shoot it even came with a case, something my hypervolt plus didn’t come with lol

damn that sucks my hypervolt came with a case haha. kinda takes up too much room though so i usually travel without it.

They look almost identical! I had to purchase a case for my HyperVolt! lol
I have this alternative that I leave in my car or bring along for travel... it’s significantly lighter, but, as expected, it’s less powerful than the HyperVolt. It gets the job done, and that’s what matters the most.
I even use it while driving to/from running destinations too (I drive manual) lol. When I bring it inside the house, I double fist recovery with my HyperVolt along with the powerdot duo running simultaneously lol

Purchased from a U.K. site last week and they came in... worn for half a day and this is the ish that happens. Sending them back they are way flimsier than I expected.
