NikePark coming back from the dead!

NikePark was a different kind of message board, nothing like ezboard. It had the latest pics, news, etc. Its creators had no time to moderate it.\n so it ultimately fell apart, with people flaming and posting porn. People stopped visiting after a while, and then the URL just became obsolete.

Nike Park - the website - was created in 1996 after visiting Nike Park in Atlanta, GA. The photo above, more than 13 years old on 35mm film, shows just one image I took from the 82,000 square foot structure adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park. Nike Park's purpose was to show the world not only the latest in Nike products and technology, but to also display the achievements of athletes from around the world. And yes, a replica of Michael Johnson's gold shoes were on display.

After visiting the facility, I created a Nike fan page entitled Nike Park. This site would evolve into the premier source for Nike news, information and pictures.

In the upcoming weeks, Nike Park will be placed back on-line as it was when the site closed on August 30, 2000.

went there when i was a kid back in 1996. place was tight. they had all kinds of things to do.
 
I've never heard of this site. might have to check it out in the next couple of weeks to see what it looks like

yeah that site was really nice. I always liked their sneaker reviews. it was real in-depth.

what's Prof K doing nowadays, last I heard he was doing running stuff? reviews or working for some shoe company?
 
Man, I remember NikePark! That was the message board that used to have all the + signs and if a post got so big it filled up the whole forum withsub-responses! If any of the OG's remember, HoopsBoy used to get ROASTED on this site.. And JerseyJoe used to be the new age Dirty/JumpmanSt. This willbe interesting!!
