How does Ecapcity work?

Once it's in my cart is it mine? I haven't done any of these releases in ages. Not really into hyped shoes either....some educate me.

they can barely load the item, fcfs. you're probably not safe until you have the hat at your door step.

At this point, would it not be most feasible to just postpone the release? It's been communicated to NT to stop refreshing the site, but other platforms (ie Twitter and IG) probably aren't aware.
