Quirky plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck has been cancelled after 100 episodes.

The show, starring Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon, debuted in 2003 and became an instant critical andratings hit in America.

But reports suggest the most recent episode - the 100th - was the last. It wrapped on 12 June.

Cast member John Hensley confirmed the sad news, tellingPerezHilton.com, "I feel we've reached a creative impasse with regards to what we can do with this story.

"I just feel that we were a show that was very good and innovative at one point and we've gone the way of so many shows before us. Our moment haspassed."

And fans face a long wait to see the final shows, which won't air until 2011.

Nip/Tuck was amazing when it first started, but then it went far left when they started doing the whole reality show bit which i didn't get at all...iremember the last time i saw a preview for that show, a man wanted a penis reduction because he couldnt stop sucking his own ++@@...pass

That season with Sanaa was the last for me it just got terrible after J.R. was on there FML :-(
