Our on ball and help defense is atrocious
. There's not one singleplayer on the entire roster that plays with any kind of heart on defense. There were way too many layups given up because someone failed to pay attention oreven contest a shot. Jamison never takes a balanced jumpshot ever, Foye is outta control, Gilbert is a choke artist and Caron has no fire whatsoever.
We fought back in the second half to prevent a blowout, but good teams like Boston know all along they are gonna win. We play way too many close games, IMOthat just shows how mediocre we are. It's a miracle when we actually blow a team out, or close a game down the stretch.

I must say, Boston really needs to tighten up on low post D. KG and Perk were allowing to many points in the paint. Rondo was on fire, that guy has reallyimproved.

Great comeback by the Wiz in the 4th quarter... BUT
* Arenas choking with those 2 bricks at the lind
* Foye heisting up a shot with 10 seconds
Letting Rondo just drive to the basket multiple times by himself, then the last OD dunk.

Celtics fans came out of NOWHERE when Gilbert was at the line... it was crazy.

Rondo has ZERO jumper... He's in the Tony Parker category. He's a nice 1 but he needs a jumper to be an all-star/elite 1... Wholetime, that's ALLhe needs to be one of the best pg's in the league

3. There was no "whenever they didn't pressure him" Gil and Earl was in his $%**%%$ face the whole time. The few jumpers he did take...two ofthem came at the end of the shot clock. You gump.

I don't know how much more EG has to see that this Big 3 experiment is a failure and NEEDS to be blown up. Caron is the most tradable commodity, so maybehe'll be moved. Charles Barkley went in on the Wizards last night on TNT, and the scrutiny was well deserved. We need a LEGIT 4 who can rebound/defend inthe starting lineup. No boards in the 2nd quarter is unheard of....
Seems like everyone with the exception of EG knows that this team is no better than a35-40 win team at best. We'll squeak into the playoffs with the number 7/8 seed and get bounced in the first round. The excuse will ALWAYS be "waituntil everyone is healthy." Same song and dance with the Wizards...year in and year out.
The Wizards are no where near being the top of the East. The discrepancy between them and the likes of Cleveland, Boston, Orlando, and even Atlanta is VERYwide. Something needs to be done to shake up the entire roster. They are kinda handcuffed by Jamison's and Arenas' contracts, but if anything can bedone (even starting from scratch) I hope they do it. I dunno who is going to take over the team, but I'm all for rebuilding. If it's Leonsis and hispartners, look at the blueprint for the Capitals. They were bottom-feeders for the LONGEST time (maybe having 1000 people at the then MCI center for games) tonow, having the hottest team in DC and sellouts every night. They re-built through the draft and by dumping bad salaries....If a change for the better is goignto happen with the Wizards it has to start at the top. New ownership, a new GM who is realistic about the "talent" on the roster, and get some cotdam new uniforms (or go back to the R/W/B). This is a pathetic team right now, and until something is done to shake things up, it's going to be more of thesame every night....

Whenever there's a marquee visiting team (Celtics, Lakers) their fans come out in droves. But even Wizards fans have the right to boo thispitiful team, Gilbert deserved to get booed his missed two free throws that could have tied the game.
Gilbert, as much as I hate his shoot first and emo attitude off the court, he's the best player on the roster. He can get to the free throw line at will, Iwish the other 11 guys on the roster did the same.
