I don't watch SNL so I can't speak on that parallel, but I did get tired of him. The ending was the only part that disappointed me slightly.

Peele said he couldn't go with the other ending because it might've really started some **** with the current social climate.

I actually agree with all this. My point is he was on Kubrick levels with the subliminals but the movie wasn’t as good as people made it out to be. Like I went in expecting a crazy good movie and was disappointed. People were gassing it od. I mean it wasn’t buns but compared to what I expected going in it was.

This statement bothers me. African Americans have been robbed of their ideas for years. Let one step out of line and he is labeled the black version of another man. The audacity!

I want to look forward to this but I feel like he should’ve tried his hand at something different. There will be too many comparisons to Get Out, this move reminds me of M. Night.

Still feel this way. I hope he figured out a way to make it it’s own film. I don’t watch trailers so that I can take it all in in the theater. Excited!
