Are you joking?
No. Please explain.
It's not a ridiculous question..

Not everywhere is naturally supplied. Some places have too harsh of weather. And overpopulation is a big factor. Some places are too crowded and not enough food can be produced.

O Really?
Sudan? Tanzania?  Bangladesh?
So let me get this right...... these 3rd world countries just merely haven't adapted to the simple tactic of harvesting,
and there too many people within the lands population to feed?
Do they not have other resources that they can trade for goods?

All in all they're just lazy, horny, sympathetic beggars...
or is it something else.....Hmmmmm....

Yeah, it's difficult to actually understand unless you experience it first hand.
Every geographical area has it's staple foods which are naturally occurring and rapidly regenerating. i.e. rice in china.
However, some areas don't have that luxury, and not only is food scarce, even it if it is obtainable they dont have they natural resources to obtain these. i.e. clean water.

Coincidentally, these areas scarce in food and resources also have over population and issues with diseases.

You mean people that live in africa in areas with little to no resources and that aren't taught to fend on there on are supposed to miraculously turn there descolent land into land that has natural resources? *#*#

Where are these rumored "areas in africa with little to no resources"
Where is this "descolent land"?

Its damn sure not the ones listed in that video.
Sudan and Tanzania are 2 of the most richest countries in Africa
when it comes to natural resources such as oil/petroleum. (the fuel that fuels the world)
These people are raised farmers its embedded in their culture.
They should be the last people starving to death.

Ask yourself how in today's world can Japan a continent with almost
no resources what-so-ever possibly be the most wealthiest?

$1 is no good for the road ahead.
We need to pull the plug on the real issue.
These people are being robbed blind for their own resources.
Meanwhile we in the outer continents (which is are economically folding in themselves)
are being brainwashed to be sympathetic towards the end result.

They need food because we steal they're resources, land, and crop for our
own well being.

Just off the amount of food we feed our "livestock of flesh" alone
can rid these people of their hunger for the next few centuries.

Maybe if people stop to think about these real issues real change can finally
come and be resolved.
It's 2010 and people are still falling for this "Save Darfur" "25 cents" mess.

So in the end you still wanna keep your 25 cents?

I fail to see what you really saying.

I get it, donating money isn't solving the issue but the problem of hunger still remains.

So what are you going to do? I agree with you 100% but the fact remains that people are starving.

My anthro teacher said this:
"A shortage of food is not the cause of world hunger, but rather a politicalissue. Studies have shown that if all human cultures have control

over theirown food supplies, there would be more food produced than consumed. But becausefood is part of global capitalism,

this is not happening. Western Capitalistswork not to feed humans, but rather to enslave them."

One man can't do it all by himself.
But relying on these fundraiser gimmicks are def not going to help.
That's why it's important that we all start looking into the politics
of whats really going on so there can be an collective effort, instead
of being ignorant to real issues and just looking to fulfill our egos as if we are actually
doing something.
Personally first things first I need to step foot on Africa's soil.

Don't get me wrong though, there are people out there actually
in the communities doing good in assisting urgent cases, but they are going to just keep piling up.
