do you ever post your number on craigslist when you sell something? i used to, but it seems like craigslist buyers are usually really ignorant; well the ones ive encountered. they call/text at the worst times and they ask the dumbest questions. i stopped listing my number when i post something on there but i see that many people still do it, i really think its dumb to leave your number on there. there have been multiple craigslist scammer stories on here also how can you be outwitted by them. 

 enlighten me on your craigslist stories.

Also it depends on what you're selling.
I can't see how asking about product can be classified as a "dumb" question.
Also you can state what times are good for you in your listing so you don't get calls at ungodly hours of the night.
And what do you mean by outwitted?

I never post a number off the bat, But I'll include a google number if the person is serious about purchasing the item.I think it also depends on what your trying to sell though, when it comes to whether or not to post a contact number.

why would you post your number on the ad? if they're serious they will email you, then you can exchange numbers when you're going to meet.

Example. Selling phone, ad lists what all comes with it.

Question: Hi, does it come with charger?

Ok dumb *%#%, the listing says it does.  That my friend, is a stupid question.

And because this %**!%*! didn't read the listing, they're also not going to read the "please call between x and y" blurb either, so they're asking their dumb %!% questions at 1am on a Wed.

i live in georgia about 20 mins from atlanta. usually id list 'what you see is what you get' people asks what does it come with {when i sold a ps3}. when im looking to sell some sneakers for low and for a quick sell, ive been ask to provide more pictures; so i do it, then they need more and it would be the stupidest angles anyone would ask for a pic. also i always list that if the ad is still up i still have the item for sell and they would still ask if i have it. even brought a shoe for a meetup so dude can inspect it i already provided pics but when he saw little sole seperation he didnt want it anymore 

 it wasnt even bad.
outwitted - multiple niketalkers have been scammed by craigslist buyers some dude got fake carmines for something he traded, the shoe was in his hand but he still went home with fakes; he got his shoes back though and there was a story of some guy who brought a hammer and still got robbed of his sneakers.
