I can solve a 3x3 in 1 minute average with a “standard” method, like the method off the pamphlet that comes with the cube lol. Once you learn/memorize algorithms it’s fairly easy and how fast you can solve it comes down to how fast and smooth you can spin the sides, not really about how mixed up the cube looks.

I never memorized any of the more complicated algorithms that these dudes who can solve a cube in a matter of seconds use though.
