I have working internet as you can see I'm able to post so I can access the internet via web browsing, however when I try to sign into my yahoo widgets on the desktop or try to put  my zip code in for my weather widget it says unable to connect to the internet...how can I fix this?

Thanks in advance!!

If you use FF or Chrome, open up IE if you don't use it and if it's set to "Work Offline", then those widgets may be running through there. Check the settings on your widgets to make sure they're not in an offline mode. Or you could just uninstall and then reinstall them.

Command Prompt ---> Services.msc ---> Windows Firewall (open that) ---> Stop & Disable.

could be an IE lan problem......

IE (open it).....tools.....internet options........connections tab........lan settings.....(make sure proxy is box is not checked)

if that does not work....

control panel......windows firewall.....change your exceptions.....
