SATA HDD doesnt power on , PCB board looks like it has a scratch, if i replace PCB board with identical will that make it power back on ?

its an easy job , just take t6 screw driver remove 6 screws , get new PCB an put back in an thats it, only thing usually theres something burnt on the PCB thats why people replace it, i tried dif cables an dif sata ports but nothing an it doesnt power on so you think its the scratch on the board ?Originally Posted by CWrite78

on time i bought a NVidia VIDEO card , replaced it with an ATI card from 5 years ago they didnt know , all i did was pull off the sticker from the nvidia an paste it on the ATI cardOriginally Posted by proper english

custom built system, theres 4 other HDD on top of each other all SATA connection , the 1 TB seagate barracude is between a GTX 580 nvidia card, i took the case to a LAN party on SATurday, everthing worked good, today i turned it on 1 tb drive wasnt reckonized took it out seen the scratch so i think thats why its not poweringOriginally Posted by crcballer55

they got him scanning papers all day with 1 hand , one day i was leaving work an son tried to wave at me while driving with one hand you shoulda seen it , almost crashed into some parked cars
