I use the gbox

It's nothing but a xbmc hub which isn't a bad thing.. Pretty much canceled cable after that, I paid 90 something for the box and it was a wrap.. Was paying almost 120 to dish every month to pay for **** I don't even watch.

And I can watch pretty much everything.

yea you said xbox didn't mean you meant xbox 360...but hell you can find a used xbox relatively cheap....plus like man said gbox...or hook up pc/laptop to tv with hdmi and get the same effect....I use that whenever I travel...and for the most part im good depending on internet connection

Sports was a little tough to get use to. For example, I use live streams to watch the Knicks

The only thing keeping me is Around The Horn and PTI. If I can find another method of watching them other than cable, I'm in.

xbmc  does have espn watch espn espn 2 and some other version.... its not in high def 1080p a nothing...but still very much viewable

I only watch 5 TV series so I torrent those and plug my phone into my USB on my TV. Hi def for free.

Blazing and just wanna watch any old crap I throw Netflix on. Think about all the crap on cable you don't need. I just pay 40 a month for the 40 mbs century link and am super straight on wasting money on cable now. I don't watch enough TV to care.

Going to the bar and spending money on food and drinks would cost me over $200 a month. I watch some form of sports almost every night. Hell, I watch Sportscenter every night. IDK where you guys live, but in NYC the price of a beer averages around $8. I can have around 2-3 during a 3 hour game and add some food to that--I'm looking at around $35 for one nights worth of watching a game at a bar.

My monthly Cable+internet+phone bill all comes out to $125 a month.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Watch ESPN functions like HBOGO, you have to have that channel to access it online.

no you dont my friend the streams are hacked... same with the hbo etc... some one hacks/has access to them and streams it live therefore you arent paying for it.... use to be a amazon and netflix hack as well but the companies figured out how to block prevent the hacks....

theres a retro tv app that has martin as well as many shows no longer available or even never released on dvd.... one day no lie I sat up and just watched homeboys from outerspace the entire full season...

granted I was high but sat up and watched it in its entirety nontheless

only thing is a alot of the older retro shows especially ones never rereleased or placed on dvd...they are true to the older quality...so going from watching tv nowadays then watching something like small wonder or Webster or silver spoons..it looks pretty bad... not because of the streams simply because being so use to like 720/1080 the digression is unreal...

damn. I don't know a damn thing about xbmc. Wasn't aware until you mentioned it. I really do have to check this out. I want to watch small wonder again
