NT Debate: PSN vs XBL (if Gold was free, but points are not)

This is not a console debate

I only got XBL and never played PSN before, so i cant make a fair argument. For those that have, please chime in.

Playstation Network vs. XBOX Live (if the Gold Membership was free, but Microsoft Points are not)

For the gaming part of the comparison, use games like Madden, COD, NBA2kx ....

i have both consoles, and i have to say that XBL delivers a better community when it comes to sport games and coop. It's a pain in the *!+ trying to findsome friends on PSN that has a mic. For example, you have better luck finding 4 players on XBL for Nazi Zombies than on PSN!!! Makes me angry when 4 peoplecan't go pass lvl 10

I say PSN. I have seen lagging a few times but nothing drastic that carries on for a few seconds.

If I'm buying a 300 (currently) system and a 60 dollar game I really don't wanna spend an extra 20-50 dollars to play online...when the same game isfree to play online on psn...

Xbox Live.

I have both and my Xbox live never lags. But my PS3 connection always does on both wireless and wired. It drives me insane.

Xbox Live also has a lot more/better Arcade games IMO.

I'd rather pay for better service than deal with PS3's wack interface as well.

A company that specializes in making operating systems like Microsoft is going to make a better interface.

Xbox live has better usability in function, games and less lag.

I find that more people talk on Xbl, but the problem with that is some games bring out the worst out of people, ex Racist, idiots etcs

I like both, i probably wont pay for Xbox live gold membership again though

there seem to be alot more racist people and younger morons on xbox live, but strictly gameplay live is better. (but you PAY)

I don't like the microsoft points either, that's so unnecessary.
