the sequencing on that **** is trash af but you get used to it after like a month if youre going really hard

FP as in FutureProducers? that site still goin strong?

advice: on that beat the flip during the verse is fine. but the transition out of the chorus to the verse at 0:43 for example is cut badly. then the kicks during the chorus were just thrown in there. also no bass/bassline. dont be afraid to give it some low end man. its SO important. i had to learn that lesson early on. ALL of my beats would be finished but... no low end.

work on those man. when it comes to choppin a sample, that sample needs to flow perfectly WITHOUT a beat behind it.

thanks for the critique. honestly, i just did that beat real quick. the chorus i was just letting my creative juices flow and experimented, but i agree it doesnt fit the beat very well :lol:

I know genres don't matter, but I had a difficult time figuring out what it, too high BPM for house but it kept giving me that deep house vibe. I just put it as future garage tho...

How do you guys map out a set. obviously not concrete, but say you're spinning 5 hours...

hip-hop

mainstream EDM

deep house

tech house
 
oh and do you guys have ways to check if a track you DL is legit 320 kbps. i tried this one program but it wouldn't work with my mac.
