I know a lot of you all are going to college and have a vision of the direction you want your life to take, but what if (God forbid) things don't pan out the way you want them to? What's your fall back plan?
I personally want to go to law school after undergrad and practice corporate law afterward. But I was talking to my adviser and reading a few article online a while back and according to them, the law field is dying since it's overly saturated. What with 40,000 people nationwide obtaining law degrees and the economy being as uncertain as it's been for the past few year, it's a dying profession for those who don't go to the top tier schools. This realization has me busting my @@@ trying to get these good grades. But when I was in high school, i learned that it's always good to play it safe and have a fall back plan. Mines is to get commissioned in the air force and serve for a few years. Plus I heard the service pays your student loans (which would be fanfreakingtastic). Then I'll have a military back ground as well as a doctorate degree with no debt. What about you all?
