Saw this on twitter today and it was a big discussion about Whooping your kids. I didnt Think the whooping was bad but posted it on social media was trash. Now even more people seeing her shake her *** and it’s getting more attention lol.

i dont Have kids yet but I think I’d definitely whoop my daughter *** for this

You whoop / plan on whooping your kids ?
 
wouldn't be surprised if this ends up doing more harm than good.

not saying that beating/disciplining your child is good or bad, but publicly embarrassing her when it would appear that she's about to be the age where she's getting those hormonal kicks... son could have inadvertently sent her running to the arms of the savages out there who prey on these type of girls.
 
...funny thing is, I bet MONEY her mom got twerking videos, or got skimpy outfits. Millennials, Generation X, whatever you call it are FAR worse than the minors.

This is a fake moral code society. Everytime I’m around certain dudes, they literally sit online looking at women twerking, or showing off their bodies online.

Not saying her dad is a hypocrite but, this current situation is so hypocritical.

But, this what happens when you live in a fake morality, and sex still being treated as “taboo” when this country/world is obsessed with sex.
It’s to fake for me.

Also, my 26 year old sister had my 2 year old neice twerking online, a few months ago. I don’t even follow my sister but needless to say, I wasn’t shocked in the least bit.

Just too much fake morality and tabooing of sex in this world.

I applaud the whooping but, just not posting it online.
But again, we live in a society where every private moment just has to be shared publicly
 
No, if you can't use words or non physical punishments to control a child, your losing as a parent.

It's not ok to beat women but it's ok to beat a little girl?

To this day I have a deep resentment towards my grandma for the way she would constantly beat us for being kids.

Raising a child is hard, I get that, but this beating on little girls **** gotta stop.
 
people can raise their own as they see fit, i just know timeouts and going to bed without dinner put the fear of God in me...

Well said brother! I too resent ma dukes+ gramama for the thrashing I took as a youngin...:smh:

I got a 5 year old lil boy...many things that I woulda got spanked for growing up, I talk it out with him...I take a knee, get on his level so we’re eye to eye, and I ask why? Ask what was he hoping to gain, let him know that ain’t how he gets his way...we write sentences and look up definitions..i make sure he understands I’m only trying to help him, and when he corrects said bad behavior he gets praised, positive affirmation..

I grew up in a house full of women, grandma, 3 aunts and my momma, I was the youngest...my grandfather was my father figure and raised us all...allll my female relatives spanked me for everything, my grandfather never hit me once...we talked it out...

I choose to follow his lead..violence was always the answer where I’m from...be it home or the streets...

I think that toxic masculinity and hyper aggression that young men get lcoming from where I’m from is a detriment to young black men...I’m here to break that cycle with the young men who’s lives im in, and I try and help them utilize their brain when the shhh hits the fan...

this comes from him being an old head not understanding the nuance of how social media works. a group of girls recording each other twerking and her reposting the snap to her story is hella different from her just putting that on her regular permanent feed. and even then its like once she at the age where she tryna attract this attention all u can do is be real w her about consequences. beating her gonna make her wild out behind ur back more. he gonna beat her until she 18? emotion over logic thinkers are the worst especially when their decisions affect other people.

once she at this age wilding the most you can do is talk to her imo from just being this young a few years ago and seeing how wild girls used to act especially with absent or overbearing fathers
 
Do people even care about privacy anymore? Dude embarrassed himself and his daughter by putting this **** on the internet. If this **** goes viral not only will her classmates see it but his coworkers and boss might. Not telling anyone how to raise their kids, what might work for some may not work for others but their was zero reason to put **** on the internet for other than the virtual high fives he thought he was going to get. This remind of the dad who wrote over his sons Concords and made t-shirts saying "I cant have jordans because I have bad grades". Dude was all over sole collector looking stupid
 
I would be scared to beat her after that because it might turn her into doing it more.

So I might take her out for ice creams after that to use psychological warfare on her
 
I think There’s a line between beating and whooping. I don’t consider what’s in the video as beating or overly excessive . Got a handful of good hits with the belt and that is that .

I was Never beat but I vividly remember 2 times I got a whooping and I never made those 2 mistakes again lol

Also not to make it an race issue but it seems like black parents are more Ok with whooping , while white families are not .

My brother who is married to a white woman never whoop their kids. One is like 5 years old and a good kid but bad as hell, broke 2 TVs throwing stuff at them , hits , etc.

Like fam , pop him a good time . Them timeouts not working
 
Some kids need to get whooped and some don't. All depends on the child's personality and what they did. He shouldn't have put that up on social media though. He shouldn't have went to work on her either. He should have let the mom handle it if he felt that she needed a whooping.
 
Wait, let me get this right. So dude was mad his daughter was showing her *** on social media for whoever it is that follows her, so he decided the best thing to do was to repost that SAME video and then record himself beating the **** out of her while still half naked to a bunch of grown *** people?

Dude is a whole idiot. 99.9% chance his plan backfires.
 
Why parents feel the need to broadcast themselves beating their child is bizarre to me. They must have gotten beaten as a child and want props for continuing the tradition. Social media is more like a social experiment.

The irony of beating your child because they were doing some attention seeking ****, just to post it online and seek the same type of attention and validation.
