You need to look through the rosters and look at the following ratings of players:
On Ball Defense
Defensive Awareness (Will help defending screens off the ball)
Quickness (Recovery)
Height

You would prefer a taller defender because he can affect the shot. Someone like LeBron would be good. Tony Allen as well. Man if you know basketball you know who good defenders are and who aren't.

Really? Ray Allen?..... KG gives me the most problems when I play the Celtics, he hits every shot within 12ft.....contested or not...

I use the Bulls and I put Ronnie Brewer on him, sometimes he gets lit up, but if you break his will in the beginning of the game he'll miss alot of shots during the game. If Ray gets hot you basically have no chance, what you can do is manually bring another person to distract him when you think he's about to shoot, make sure you time it right tho or else an experienced player can kick it out to the open man.
