Haven't seen any threads dedicated to health other than the fitness thread.

Figured it could be an exchange of ideas on tips, information, products, procedures, costs, insurance etc.

People can post questions as well.

Figured it could be like TAY but for medical stuff.

Some tips I've learned over the years:
  • Brushing teeth with a baking soda and salt mixture is just as good as regular toothpaste (and cheaper in the long run).
  • For low cost whitening solution, use hydrogen peroxide
  • For a product that gives a  deep clean of the skin, use carbolic soap.  You will smell like chemicals and you may even be asked if you're using carbolic soap by older people and immigrants (the two demographics that really know of this product.)
  • Put shampoo and condition in hair at start of shower, let sit until end.  Get's time to soak into the hair and leaves hair feeling squeaky clean.
  • Use a loofah or rag/washcloth or a shower brush.  Helps with getting oils and dirt stuck deep in the pores.  Feel much cleaner and for longer.
  • Brush your tongue for god sake
What tips do you guys have?

With all of the chemicals in shampoos and conditioners, I would NEVER do this.
