NT Pre-med/ Dentists school me on dentistry vol help

I'm gonna start my freshmen year in college this Fall and I wanted to know how hard is it to become a dentist?

I plan on majoring in Math and finishing up the dental pre-reqs. That way I can try to have a good GPA, since math is my best subject, and get into dentalschool.

Also, would it be better to attend a school that already has a dental school?

Any tips, advice, words of wisdom....

my mom is a dentist and she majored in Biology..............she went on to Uconn School of Dentistry. (Dental Medicine)

8 years of school and if your smart and up to the challenge go for it, she makes great money and works great hours.

if you were a good student in high school then college should not be a problem...youll just have to work a little harder for it...good at math? thats a plus
