Would you continue/start a relationship with someone if they told you/confessed they killed someone (possibly more than one)?

Something I've pondered. Consider all of the possibilities but I'd like to know your response if they killed someone in self defense and didn't goto prison.

Also they're not crazy, you like them a lot, you're really attracted to them, nothing else is wrong with them, they're just like any other personfor the most part except they've taken a life. Would you still be with that person? Why or whynot?

To be clear I'm talking about directly killing someone. I aint talking about a drug dealer/drug mule that indirectly kills a drug user.

if it was in self defense i wouldn't care.. but unless i do some serious sherlocking and find out exactly what happened i doubt it. they can tell me whatthey want..doesn't mean it's true.

Why, though?

I want reasons why ppl would and why they wouldn't. I did say to add in all possibilities so lets say you're already in a relationship with someone whohas killed another person, they tell you do you continue the relationship?

I was going to add a pic of OJ in the OP but I wanted tobe equal opportunity and couldn't think of a female version.

Yeah.... I don't understand why you wouldn't when she's not crazy and did it for self defense

@ possibly more than one.

Nah man, couldn't get down with that. It would change my perception of them instantly.

bingo.

Depends on the circumstances.

She'd have to tell me exactly what happened, why it happened, and what was her first instinct.

I've been in self defense situations where someone could have lost their life, so I can understand if she stabbed someone who was trying to rape her orsomething.

hell no would i be with that person. i could only imagine what would happen if i forgot our anniversary.

I initially wanted to leave the question open for any scenario(that's why I said consider all possibilities) but my OP would've been toolong. I wanted the answer for the self defense/no prison one but I can bring up a gang of scenarios to ask this question.

Under the scenario you've presented........i'd say yeah.

Does this fall under drunk driving hit and run or like "I killed somebody who I didn't like the look of and got away with it"?

Neither really since they don't have anything to do with self defense but you could put that in to play.

No excuse for vehicular homicide and killing someone just cuz you don't like them imo

Would you with either scenario? 2nd one makes the person sound more dangerous
Random: you know Barbara Bush killed somebody?
I didn't but for some reason I aint that surprised
