I've been hearing on FB and the news that having kids as an older man (biological clock) could make your kids worse off.

"Bioengineer Narendra Singh of the University of Washington in Seattle and his colleagues compared the sperm of men of different ages. Sure enough, sperm in men older than 35 had more DNA damage than that from younger men. And although unhealthy sperm are supposed to commit cell suicide, some of the sperm they looked at had lost that ability to "take one for the team"—meaning they'd be around to fertilize an egg. "This may lead to offspring with defective DNA, which may translate to mental and physical defects," Singh says."

I'm 28 now...this got me thinking about dropping some lotion over at a sperm bank to freeze these high quality swimmers. Anyone else consider this/experience with this? It's wildly expensive though (like 1k).

Time to get my fish, vegetable and exercise game back on point.

Just donate to a sperm bank (word to Kevin Hart) and get paid a bill for it.

You ever think about finding someone to have a kid with? Or have?

Or do you actually want children?

Is adoption an option if say things aren't looking to bright?

Are you concerned or something?

Has anyone has been as far, even as decided to use, even go want to do look more like?

Man... I don't believe this study is that prevalent. They're just trying to level the playing field because as long as a man has stability, he can pull a woman and make babies at ANY age

:rollin

I mean, if you really feel like you're not gonna make that step for 7 years, go ahead and freeze your lil guys. But I'd wait until you hit 30. You might find someone in a year or two, then that's just wasted money.

They said that in the begging of this simple pickup video.

I got a girl. We'll get married once our funds, school, life etc is right. It's a bit difficult since she's not an American citizen so it'll take us a while to get settled enough to have kids. I don't mind having kids until I'm 35 (she'd be 30 then). I just want to have kids with as much genetic juice as I could give them.

It's just an interesting thought....since nowadays kids seem so messed up, unathletic, and allergy/disease prone. People used to have kids when they were 19-25 or so and now the norm seems more 27-40 or so. Going to have a bunch of weak kids running around.

thought this was interesting as well...

"For the study, researchers divided parents into two groups: those with jobs that are not people-oriented jobs (considered technical) and those with people-oriented jobs (considered nontechnical). They found that fathers who worked in finance were four times more likely to have a child on the autism spectrum than those with the nontechnical jobs (which could include those in media, education, or sales industries, for example). And those who worked in health care (working in a medical lab, for example) were six times more likely. A mother’s job held no association to autistic offspring unless both she and her husband worked in technical fields. In that case, their children were at a higher risk of developing a more severe case of autism."
