I need one to carry my laptop & gadgets while traveling, in the airports, etc.

Maybe one of those joints w/a padded back.

Don't show me the $120 TNF joint. Show me a $60 joint

Thanks!

You need a TNF. They consistently make the best backpacks out there in my opinion. I got my self a Hot Shot and a Recon. I use them to travel all the time. They have a lot of compartments and room for tons of stuff. I always take my laptop in there and never do I have a doubt that it will get damaged. The laptopcompartment ends like 2 inches before it his the bottom of the backpack so when you put it don't it never touches the floor.

I was gonna come in here saying Jansport /thread. Then i read you need your laptop and etc to fit in it. So there for get a TNF.

North Faces aren't $120, they're $80, that is, if you don't mind paying $20 more than your budget for quality. But the newer North Faces'quality REALLY suck compared to the older ones. You can tell by the straps. The newer ones are flimsy and will rip easily whereas the older ones are rock hardand won't rip at all unless you're Superman.

Those are my backpacks. I have 2 recons but I let my brother use one. They are the best imo. But like someone else said the new ones are not as good as theolder ones. But they still have a life time warranty so you'll be set if a trap breaks or what not.

Edit: This thread has links where you can get them for 65 dollars shipped for free

get a northface one. ive had mine since 8th grade and im going into 12th this year and its still going strong..ill prob clean it then use it in college too

I have a TNF Borealis and it's been very good to me.

It's a little smaller than the recon, but unless you're lugging around a 17 incher (

), it shouldn't be a problem.

I dont know alot about backpacks but I have a Jansport that has a padded back and a section that'll fit a 17" laptop comfortably...and it only cost mein that $50-$60 range.
construction seems fine too.
I dont know if it has a specific name though

i still got my jansport from 8th grade damn that #+*$ was 11-12 yrs ago it has "no pigeons" (what? that song was hot, the hell happened to the sportythieves anyways) and Steve Francis #23 (dude was so nice at Maryland) all over it. Damn I was such a misguided youth!

Doesnt have anything to do with this thread just thought i should mention it

Thank you. That thread = problem solved & right inside the budget of what I wanted to spend.

And I'll skip that Hypebeast version but thanks for the suggestion
